Bullying in school is not harmless and inevitable nor is bullying just a part of growing up. Bullying can have severe and long-term consequences. Also, as technology becomes more widespread, traditional “school-yard” bullying is moving into the cyber world. Cyber-bullying now makes it even harder, if not impossible, for the victim to escape the reach of the bully. What is this doing to kids? And, what do we do about cyber-bullying that did not occur during school hours? We will look at these questions and many more as a part of this training. The target audience is Principals, Assistant Principals, DPPs, Guidance Counselors, FRYSC Coordinators, Teachers, School Resource Officers, and Safe Schools Coordinators. 3 EILA hours will be offered.
